Lean Six Sigma Certification
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, education has changed dramatically, with an increase demand for online learning. For our online, “at-a-distance” Lean Six Sigma courses, students enrolled in the Yellow, Green and Black Belt have up to fourteen months to successfully fulfill all of the training and certification requirements. In the case of our virtual Master Black Belt program, this timeframe is eighteen months instead.
Each online student benefits from regular, reliable feedback, guidance and support from one of our Certified Master Black Belt instructors. Depending on belt level and individual input, successful completion of the Lean Six Sigma online certification requirements takes one to six months of independent study.
Lean Six Sigma Certification Requirements and Prerequisites
Based on their skills and knowledge, the prospective student may be eligible to start the training at any level desired. Please contact us and we will assess your eligibility to enroll directly to a higher belt level. This assessment is generally conducted and based on education, previous work experience and involvement in continuous improvement projects and activities.
The Yellow Belt certification is not a prerequisite for enrolling into the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt program. Also, the Green Belt certification is not a prerequisite for the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt program. The Black Belt online training program includes the Yellow Belt and Green Belt curriculums in their entirety. The exam and project review are included in the online certification tuition fee.
Note: To qualify for the online or classroom training and certification, the Master Black Belt candidates must be certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belts by a reputable school and have at least two years experience working at a Black Belt level.
Each online certification program includes virtually 24/7 guidance and support from your assigned Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt instructor. Online training course syllabus, online training assignment list and login credentials will be provided. You will also have access to hands-on Minitab or SigmaXL training. The participant must purchase the course textbook separately (Implementing Six Sigma, by Forrest Breyfogle III).
