What does onsite training mean? As for many organizations completing the training and certification requires extensive travel time and expenses, we will send one of our Master Black Belt instructors to your workplace to deliver a group training at your facility. Bringing an MBB instructor onsite is a convenient and cost-effective way, as the training will be delivered to your specific business challenges.

Our Training and Certification Method

Our approach is based on having the participants come to the training sessions with pre-approved projects (or at least with projects in mind), ideally with some process data already available for analysis. The sessions would focus on these projects throughout the training so that exercises and workshops are based on real-life issues for maximum impact and learning. By using this approach, savings from projects typically result in a return on training investment of between 5 and 100 times of initial cost.

At the end of each of the levels of training, students will receive a certificate of training. Participants can progress to become Black Belt or Green Belt certified by leading or co-leading a Black or Green Belt project and passing the certification exam. Students who successfully pass the certification exam and submit the project will receive a certificate stating that they are certified in their respective belt level. Certification is highly recommended, as the certification projects will provide a greater ROI on the training provided, as well as improve customer satisfaction, first pass yield, improve turnaround time and establish metrics, to realize organizational benefits and cost savings. It also solidifies understanding and builds confidence in the effective application of learnings from the training sessions.

  • The training is highly ‘hands-on’ and delivered through applying concepts learned directly within the workplace of the participants. After completing this 3-days course, participants will be able to:

  • Use A3 methodology for improvement initiatives
  • Explain the Five Principles of Lean and the importance of Flow
  • Identify the eight sources of waste in their area of responsibility
  • Understand the importance of Value Stream and Process Mapping and be prepared to participate

Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Onsite Training (4 days – up to 20 students per class)

Objective:  The overall objective is to equip Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt candidates to participate in, support improvement activities and be able to apply some of the basic quality tools in their area of operation.
