Over 15 years of progressive, international, corporate experience (more than 10 years at Manager / Director / VP levels) with multinational market leaders.

Held positions of increasing responsibility in line management roles, from Industrial Engineer, Production Supervisor through Plant Manager to VP Manufacturing. With several of the companies he worked for, Ed played an integral, ‘hands on’ role in the successful implementation Lean Manufacturing, TQM, Just in Time (JIT), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), SPC, MRPII, Set Up Time Reduction, Employee Involvement and Team-Centered Manufacturing, resulting in substantial cost savings and operational improvements.

Liviu Ibanescu is widely recognized for his contribution in the Lean Six Sigma community and well respected professional, leading organizational cross-functional teams to significant operational and financial results. Liviu’s Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement journey started in the early 90’s. Since 2010 Liviu has been the President and Senior Partner of Lean Six Sigma Canada. He is also a Founder Member of American Society for Lean Six Sigma. Previously, he worked as a Senior Management Consultant and held positions as Senior Manager of Quality and Continuous Improvement with major North American corporations.

In 2011, Liviu was the architect of the partnership between Lean Six Sigma Canada and Forrest Breyfogle. Lean Six Sigma Canada continues to deliver in North America and worldwide a series of ground-breaking Lean Six Sigma MBB and BB in-class training, instructed by the award winning author. Forrest Breyfogle – ASQ Fellow, P.E., MBB, SSI – Founder and CEO

Forrest Breyfogle was honoured for his cutting-edge approach to traditional Six Sigma methodologies in his book, Implementing Six Sigma, 2nd edition (ISS2) at the American Society for Quality (ASQ) World Conference. ISS2, referred by many as the “how to” book, is recommended by ASQ and received the coveted Phillip B. Crosby Medal. This honour is presented to the individual who has authored a distinguished book contributing significantly to the extension of the philosophy and application of the principles, methods, or techniques of quality management.

Forrest Breyfogle has also received a variety of awards over the years, from reputable organizations such as: American Society for Quality, Lean and Six Sigma World Organization, Missouri University of Science and Technology, University of Texas and Quality Magazine.
